mixers and snackers and for something sweet ...

tbd ... start with cocktail mixes and if there is opportunity to grow can
add
have to see what is doable with manufacturer and best fit offerings

***working on best order

tbc ... thinking each premium/specialty mix matches up with
a beverage offerings:

Mixers
can be snack menu offerings
12 pairings for cocktail selections
and or will transition
to next course of meal choice
complimentary mixtures to feature throughout the day
or serving 1 or more together for hosting
perfect to have on hand
great for and entertaining
ie. bar/restaurant menu, charcuterie boards or placed at a beverage station or
around a room for a variety of offerings, hostess gift
corporate snack room, greenrooms, caterers ... etc

***looking for best fit manufacturing company for upscale/specialty packaging
after thinking this through a bit more -
match colors of website - white with black text or black with white text
text - same avant garde font
variation for - candies ... possibly for holiday
and or large size tins
room to add in additional collections - add in some gray text
with same distribution strategy ...
who would want to work with a small start up/ may initially have smaller opening orders ... something to grow

tbc ...
need to taste test!
want to have best fit with ratios, I think 1/5 of each component should work
and a look see on sizing and coloring ... but I think ok
***like the pepper component ... tbc ...
salt, pepper, honey - to enhance flavor of the beverage and maintain flavor of each component that pairs with each beverage category
need/want to test what peppers pair best with each assortment
using specialty salts and peppers and honey

mixer and snacker - 5 components - very targeted with right proportions/combo of nutritional values
ie.to add in - a bit of chocolate made with honey
without hard coating
for peak performance, snacking, post workout and or great for travel
/ salt helps after workout
want to come up with a best combination of nuts, dried fruit
and chocolate (made with honey) -
some initial thoughts ... all salted with proper ratios on the nuts
targeted ratio ... the nuts and the dried fruit and possibly with a chunk or
square of chocolate ...
what's best for peak performance/nutritional values
for both mixers and snackers
***but need to research a bit more

... for an initial outline ... will be tweaking w/the names a bit

Mixers:

* fashioned
(ie. bourbon/old fashion)

*for a pairing

(ie. red wine )

* shake it up

(ie. cocktails)

* the brew
(ie. beer)

* punch

( ie. punch/punch with fresh fruit)

* it's a given

(ie. tequlia/margarita )

* something special

(ie. white wine)

*the combination
*(ie. gin/gin and tonic)

* keep it neat

( ie. whiskey /straight up)

*it's a go
(ie. cosmo)

* key to note
(ie. beaujolais)

* let's mingle
(ie. sparkling)

coffee/tea/dessert

*blend
(coffee)

* tea time

(ie. tea service )

*after hours
(ie. after lunch / after dinner - mints)

*sweets

(ie. assorted chocolates)

*in the spirit - -

* mix it up

(ie. updated bridge mix)

***if demand may offer another set up for a fundraising tin
just offered as a fundraising tool
just a classic recipe/combination and maybe tea time

****would like to add some snack mixes if possible - 3/ if demand
and as some larger 4 oz snack packs to grow with 8-12 oz size

***if opportunity to grow - boxed assorted chocolates

***may add a classic mix tin that can just be used as a fundraising tool
with a unique set up tin that coordinates/12oz ???
$10 cost / $25 retail if doable
hit a $25 retail I think that may be a better price point

if at $25 it would probably encourage multiple purchases
all tbc

with dark and milk chocolate sweetened with honey
lower glycemic
***if doable ... tbc ...
great for a dessert menu as a pairing or sharable treat
nice to have on hand for a handful, ready for hosting and perfect for events

each pairing will have a unique combination
need to research a little further but would like different variety of dried cherries for punch and let's mingle ... need to research
but think that pairs best for both ... going for best pairing per drink category
will tweak a bit more if need be
it can be a personal choice but each one is skewed toward
a specific drink category but allows for some cross over

possibly more to come

Snackers:
for ...
snack time ...
may be able to feature as a trio / great for gifting
snack size before or after / might be more like a calorie size???
tbc - right balance of protein, fats, with flaky sea salt etc...want to research a bit more

snack sized - 5 components - very targeted with right proportions/combo of nutritional values
ie.to add in - a bit of chocolate made with honey
without hard coating
for peak performance, snacking, post workout and or great for travel
/ salt helps after workout
want to come up with a best combination of nuts, dried fruit
and chocolate (made with honey) -
some initial thoughts ... all salted with proper ratios on the nuts
targeted ratio ... the nuts and the dried fruit and honey chocolate ...
what's best for peak performance/nutritional value
***but need to research a bit more

ie- working on some names ... all tbc

havin a blast: brazil nut, cashew, almond, dried blueberries and milk chocolate
let's chill: peanuts, pistachio, walnuts, dark raisin, milk chocolate
and or : a bite extra: macadamia, pecans and hazelnut, dried cranberry, dark chocolate

proportioned for good balance

and possibly more snacks to come, if opportunity to expand with different components
ie. corn nuts ??? ... honey wheat stick, parm crisp
***love a healthy potato chip ...
combo of wheat and multi grain pretzels, salted properly ...
potassium / gluten free and non gmo, no preservatives - fast turn around
I'm thinking this packaging would be appealing to this target market
if doable with manufacturer would eventually like to add in
if demand ... thinking online customers - events and caterers and specialty distribution etc

pairing mixes of premium roasted nuts
with some added touches
it's another little business that I'd like to have, ***tbc,
I love little nibbles like this
trying to keep things flavorful but trying to stay on the healthy side
I also love including different herbs and spices and flavors but feeI like the flavor combinations above are the right balance for the type of product
and positioning that I want ... I want it to pair with the drink,
typically the drink served will pair with the next course
I think just a little honey and salt and pepper will bring out the
flavors of the nuts and other components and compliment the beverages
... just focus on that pairing ... and will easily go with other foods
good by itself or to transition to a next course
if demand or opportunity presents itself can grow further from here
the right fit is probably with select retail partners
tbc if doable may be able to offer on website if ship from another location
perfect for individual or group sales ...
for packaging I'm envisioning coordinating with nook image
maybe a solid color container/possibly tin, specialty packaging

to get started may first be available in a larger container ie. combination
with a 2.0 oz/individual portion -
for ramekins - mixer size
(possibly refill packaging available?)
so it works for restaurants and a retail item / home & specialty entertaining
if demand can add on 2 oz size
tbc ... black ... logo on inside
*** will go with best fit specialty packaging
one side will have name of assortment / uniques graphic label with text
to have a coordinating look

***if JBD has any interest in carry a mixer line and or larger size/ 8 oz for exclusive retail
I'd like to offer it to them for the exclusive restaurant distribution

tbc ... an array of specialty packaging to evaluate ...
possibly packette for individual if doable, stackable and reusable on the tins on the larger sizes

because there is a tight turnaround on expiration dates ...
want it priced to sell / matching qtys for inventory
for 6 months turnaround with retailers (made to order)
with specialty packaging that fits pricing strategy
select and limited partnerships for long term specialty strategy,
thinking nibbles for specialty:
available on a bar menu - 2.0 oz packette
can be served with a drink, depending on the type of service can be opened and served in a nut dish of if more casual or self serve can leave in the packette

snack rooms, specialty concessions, mini bars,

gourmet food related retailer,
select and limited distribution ...
ideal to secure with a basic reorder program
also great for events as a starter or in a gift bag
initial thoughts ...
TBC ... maybe just a few sizes to consider -2.0 oz packette,
3-4 oz small round tin and or
with paper with graphics,
go up to larger tin possibly 8-12 + oz round tin ... have 2 sizes
evaluate what's best fit for demand pricing and packaging
all with coordinating packaging where company name/logo hidden under the flap or top ... need to research a bit more but would like
Nutrition Facts to be on inside too,
graphic design of packaging is the focus
making it optional to coordinate with any event theme decor
within commercial or private settings
could have special holiday colorations for packaging
if a special order for a holiday blend
on the larger tins to match up with high volume selling periods
% of product sales will be donated to the health and vitality of the bees

(high level concept / goals of the product category)
